Lost and Found

We all end up losing things during our lifetime, wether it be items such as keys, money, mobile phones or even something more meaning like friendships and relationships. At times words cannot describe the feeling of actually finding whatever it is you have lost. Personally, I hate losing things especially when I have no recollection of where it was lost. With small items such it can be difficult to trace back to where exactly it may have been lost, dropped or stolen from.

Sometimes it can be impossible to find something that you have lost or even someone that you have lost contact with. I've seen many people that I have had the pleasure to get to know come and go in my life. I've established some great friendships with people in the past and unfortunately, life takes a person down different paths than yours and it can be difficult to reconnect with that person in the near future. I've been fortunate on some occasions to bump into old friends, just on the chance of them living in the same city as me. So I know that one day, I will have the opportunity to cross paths with those I had considered as a good friend or acquaintance of mine. That's just me being optimistic but it's a possibility nonetheless.

There comes a time when a person can feel lost in life. There doesn't appear to be any clear direction of where their life will be taking them or how they will develop as a person through their experiences. Then sometimes an opportunity comes about. It could be anything from a job offer to a moment in life shared with a potential love. I believe opportunities are not always easily visible to those who are going through hard times in their lives but they are out there. For some it's just a case of opening your eyes and seeing what could literally be staring you in the face. I for one have been guilty of watching the world pass me by on several occasions but I have learned that opportunities are out there, some need to be sought after and some are just easily visible. Who knows what how are lives will take shape unless we use the tools to help mould it.

Remember, we all have one life so why not make the most of it while we are still on this planet.

To be continued...
